Milsim for Beginners: Gears, Tactics & What to Expect
Milsim is one of the most immersive experiences in airsoft, but it can be overwhelming for first-timers.
1. What is Milsim?
Milsim, short for military simulation, is a more realistic and immersive style of airsoft that mimics military missions, squad roles, and prolonged engagements. Events often last several hours—or even days. another type of airsoft game style is speedball but we are not going to discuss that today.
Before anything else, if you are somewhere near Bethel, OH., you might want to check this 2 day on site Event this July 05, 2025 at Parker’s Airsoft Field, Bethel Ohio.

What Makes It Different?

2. Basic Milsim Gear for Beginners
You don’t need a full loadout on day one—but these basics are must-haves:
Essential Loadout
